How to use Vacation Mode

Pause automatic trip tracking for a break, or schedule a future vacation.

Vacation Mode pauses automatic trip tracking while you are away from work. You can turn it on for a break or schedule it for future dates.

Turn on or schedule Vacation Mode

  1. Open the Mileage Quest app and go to Settings > Vacation Mode.
  2. Turn on Vacation Mode now, or choose a start and end date for a future break.
  3. Save your selection and check that the setting shows the dates or active status you expect.

Change or end a vacation

Return to Settings > Vacation Mode to review, edit, or cancel a scheduled vacation. When you return, check that Vacation Mode is off and trip tracking is active again.

If a trip is missing

Trips taken while Vacation Mode is active may not be recorded automatically. If tracking does not resume after your break, review the Vacation Mode setting and your phone’s location permissions. See Why are my trips not being logged? for more checks.
